Google Cloud Platform is Good, But VirMach VPS is WAY BETTER

Good afternoon Crypto Warriors! It’s been a busy week & weekend here in the Linux Lab. In fact, it has been so busy the last month, that I just picked up an OVPN project I had been working on. After some research & pure dumb luck a newer, more sound development dropped in my lap. Reinstalling OpenVPN on GCP failed due to insufficient space.

Vaguely remembering that GCP pricing was a little on the high side I happened upon a Github repository by our friend, Nyr author of the OVPN Script that provided a link to VirMach. I’ll admit after a hiccup of entering the WRONG EMAIL AND PAYING WITHOUT VERIFYING MY EMAIL…

I was super skeptical of the low price & the no frills desktop…

…Sigh, the fantastic, seemingly 24/7 staff at VirMach are top notch computer pros on top of their game in Systems & Network Administration. Did I mention incredibly patient too?

Our new CryptoCloud VPS 500GB of bandwidth & 20GB Storage $2.50/mo!

This absolutely blows AWS & GCP prices out of the cryptosphere, especially if you only need a server for one project. Why pay $24/mo? But keep in mind this is only the absolute cheapest plan, if needed a user can scale or upgrade different configurations up to Dedicated Managed Servers with DDoS Protection, 5 IPs & speeds up to 10 Gbps.* Offers like this give users the freedom to choose secure high-speed data at far lower costs than traditional ISPs can offer.

In fact, we are considering testing the connection at home just to compare. Stay tuned as we will be sure to keep you updated, as a remote connection will also be used to run our PiNode & mining in hardened locations w/o internet access.
